    In 1969, Mr. Gerald "Jerry " T. Bright, founder of "Bright Pest Control", formerly known as "Nationwide Exterminating Company", started in the pest control industry, working from the back of his car.     Mr. Green has been inspecting property as a private inspector for over 18 years. In this time he has inspected thousands of properties in the Central/Eastern Kentucky area. Mr. Green is the founder of the Kentucky Real Estate Inspection Association, Inc. (KREIA). He has served as President for four different terms, first in 1992 and 1993 as the organizations first president and more recently in 2002 and 2003. Mr. Green is a Certified Home Inspector with the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors, Inc. (NACHI). He has also served a term as Vice President and on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Home Inspectors, Inc. (NAHI). Mr. Green holds the KREIA Certified Inspector designation and is a licensed home inspector through the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. Also he is a member of the Environmental Assessment Association (EAA). Additionally he is a Kentucky Licensed Pest Control Operator and member of the Kentucky Pest Control Association, (KPCA) and the National Pest Management Association, (NPMA). Finally, Mr. Green holds the distinction of being the oldest operating home inspector in Central and Eastern Kentucky
